Saint Clair's Premium Sauvignon Blanc seamlessly balances concentrated New World fruit concentration with Old World elegance.
Grapes yields from a prestigious selection of vineyards located predominantly in the lower Wairau sub-region of Marlborough. Saint Clair regards these areas as the very best for producing Sauvignon Blanc, and each batch was assessed for quality and only the best components were selected for this premium blend.
Saint Clair was established in 1978 by the husband and wife team of Neal and Judy Ibbotson, who were true pioneers of Marlborough, which back then was a largely untapped and undiscovered wine region. The Saint Clair name originates from the vineyard property they took over, originally planted by James Sinclair.
Saint Clair remains a family business and the Ibbotsons are aided by son Tony and daughters Sarina and Julie who take care of marketing and sales. They also employ one of New Zealands leading winemaking teams.
“Saint Clair now makes the country’s and perhaps the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc." Bob Campbell MW
