North Canterbury
As it's name suggests, Northland is New Zealand's most northerly wine-producing region and is most popular for the production of red and white wines. Syrah and Pinotage, as well as Chardonnay lead the region's most popular verities, while Pinot Gris, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc are also cultured here.
