Escarpment has been under the leadership of winemaker Larry Mckenna since in its inception in 1999. Situated just 5km east of Martinborough village, Escarpment’s 24 hectares of distinctive alluvial gravel, terraced land stretches out along the banks of the Huangarua River. Producing wines with the aim of rewarding wine lovers with progressive and suggestive wines, Escarpment encourage each and every wine enthusiast to venture to the edge of wine loving and appreciation.
