Located on the old river bed of the historic Opawa River in Marlborough, the Opawa vineyard benefits from the stony river gravels absorbing the sun’s warmth during the day and radiating it back onto the grapes at night and resulting in delicious aromas and flavours.
Known for its 'Made by Moonlight' philosophy, all Opawa grapes are picked in the cool of night, under the moonlight, to ensure the pristine flavours are perfectly preserved in its wines.
