Delta Vineyard

Founded in 2000, the Delta Wine Company was the brainchild of three wine industry gurus and friends, who often spent evenings enjoying wine and discussing the potential for exceptional and unique Pinot Noir in Marlborough. As a collective, they found a site that was ideal for growing high quality Pinot Noir and planted it with selected Dijon clones. After investing in great land and vines, hand harvesting with multiple picks throughout the harvest season and the use of boutique winemaking techniques, the investment paid off, with Delta receiving several high profile quality awards for their Pinot Noirs.
