Isabel Estate's 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a tropical explosion in your glass - rich and drenched in ripe fruit flavours.
Grapes for the 2019 come from Isabel Estate's own vineyards situated within the Wairau Valley in the heart of Marlborough. Fruit was picked at night to retain freshness, and all blocks and picks were kept separate to maintain individuality.
Isabel Estate was established in Marlborough's prestigious Wairau Valley in 1980, and is named after the owner's (Michael Tiller's) late mother. Isabel Estate boasts some of the oldest vines in the Marlborough wine region, which benefit from extended sunshine through a long growing season. It's the quality and concentration of flavour you get from old vines that shine through in their stunning wines.
Pineapple, kaffir lime leaves, elderflower and lychee fill the nose. Rich in the mouth, with fresh green mango, passionfruit and guava fruit, balanced by vibrant acidity and wet-stone minerality. Finishes long.
