Dog Point's Section 94 is a premium oak-aged Sauvignon Blanc - full-bodied, rich and creamy - a perfect marriage of old world philosophies and new world technologies.
Fruit for the Section 94 is sourced from the Wairau Valley sub-region of Marlborough and, unusually for Sauvignon, the wine was aged for 18 months in old French oak barrels give a distinctive character.
Dog Point Vineyard is the largest organic Biogro certified vineyard in New Zealand, with practices including turning winery waste a healthy organic compost and collecting leachate to use as fertiliser to help conserve moisture and improve soil structure, plus the planting of buckwheat between the vines to encourage beneficial insects for biological control of insect pests. Over the winter months, sheep are brought onto the property to control grass and weed growth and assist in adding organic matter to the soil.

Pure focused fruit aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, a pleasant fragrance of white blossom. A complex full-bodied style of Sauvignon Blanc with a chalky minerality and fresh herbal influence, complimented by a slightly funky reductive edge.
