Centrally located at the confluence of the smaller brancott and omaka valleys, the Dog Point vineyard is the largest organic Biogro certified vineyard in New Zealand. It is an authentic working farm property with organic philosophies at the centre, with the focus on producing premium quality wine utilising environmentally friendly and responsible practices.
HISTORY OF DOG POINTNamed after the earliest european settlement of Marlborough and the introduction of sheep to the district, Dog Point has a truly organic philosophy and it’s been this way since the very beginning in the 1970s. Their vineyard locations have allowed them to benefit from the significant temperature range between cool nights and sunny days which allow for ideal conditions for long slow ripening of grapes.
