Craggy Range Te Muna Road 2016 is a medium-bodied, silky, seductive Pinot Noir from the Te Muna Road vineyard, just outside of the Martinborough township.

Here, the higher terrace comprises very old, stony clay infused soils which are perfect for Pinot Noir. Fruit was hand-harvested and matured in French oak barriques.

Craggy Range is a family-owned winery, spectacularly situated in the shadow of Te Mata Peak in the premium Hawkes Bay winegrowing region. Craggy Range produces a portfolio of quality wines including the iconic Prestige, Family and Appellation collections, as well as Limited Editions from exceptional winery-owned vineyards in Hawke’s Bay, Martinborough and Marlborough.

"This is an approachable drop now, but could happily cellar for another seven to eight years. The fragrant nose offers ripe red cherry, floral, cinnamon, clove, damp earth and a lick of oak spice. Medium bodied, the palate is slippery textured and laced together with savory, grainy tannins." Wine Enthusiast

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast

Seductive, heady aromas of dark cherries, Rosé petals, thyme and damp earth. Medium weight red fruit fill the mouth, with richness and fine-grained tannins and balancing acidity. Long, elegant finish which is savoury and dry.
