Schubert's S Selection is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in the Martinborough region of Wairarapa.
Grapes for Schubert's S Selection Sauvignon come from Martinborough, in the Wairarapa Valley - the first of New Zealand`s wine regions to establish world class credentials for producing Pinot Noir. The Wairarapa Valley is cooler and drier than other North Island wine regions, creating wines with great depth and weight.
Schubert Wines is a boutique organic Martinborough winery established in 1998 by Kai Schubert and Marion Deimling who both studied Viticulture and Oenology at Geisenheim University in Germany.
Kai and Marion base their success on producing low yielding, cool-climate wines based on a wealth of both Old World and New World experience in wine regions across France, Germany, Oregon, California, South America and Australia.
