Mahi Marlborough Pinot Noir 2018
A deliciously full, rich and brooding dark fruits bouquet. Ripe, supple palate with great complexity and concentration of dark cherries and plum fruit, with soft tannins, fresh acidity and a lovely well-rounded finish.

Mahi Marlborough is a Pinot Noir is a quintessential Kiwi Pinot style from a very good Marlborough vintage – a beautifully textured, rich, complex, super silky rendition.
Fruit for this stunning Pinot are handpicked from three specific Marlborough vineyard sites, each bringing unique characteristics to the wine: The Twin Valleys portion from the cooler Fareham Road provides palate structure; fruit from the Byrne vineyard yields both delicacy and big fruit notes, and from Ward (south of Blenheim), comes great depth and rich black fruit characters. The grapes were cold soaked prior to fermentation to yield soft tannins, and the wine aged for 13 months in French barriques.
