Isabel Estate's Pinot Gris is a lovely off-dry style, supple, yet complex, with wonderful fruit ripeness from Isabel Estate's own Marlborough vineyard.
Fruit for the Pinot Gris was harvested in several parcels, and the juice underwent some lees stirring to enhance mouthfeel and texture of the final wine.
Isabel Estate was established in Marlborough's prestigious Wairau Valley in 1980, and is named after the owner's (Michael Tiller's) late mother. Isabel Estate boasts some of the oldest vines in the Marlborough wine region, which benefit from extended sunshine through a long growing season. It's the quality and concentration of flavour you get from old vines that shine through in their stunning wines.

“This is a straight up, darn good drink.” (The Wine Front, 2019)
Rich aromas of nectarine, white pear, clover honey with hints of coconut. The palate has strong mineral definition, supple mouthfeel and good length due to the gentle lees ageing. Subtle and complex with persimmon, red apple and a faint suggestion of rose petal. An off-dry style, with lovely fruit ripeness.
