Two Paddocks Picnic is a 100% Pinot Noir from Two Paddock's vineyards situated in the Gibbston, Alexandra and Bannockburn sub-regions of Central Otago. Fruit was hand-harvested, 95% destemmed and given 5-7 days pre-fermentation cold maceration. After an indigenous ferment the wine is given another 5 to 7 days post ferment time on skins, then transferred to old French medium-toast barriques for a 10 month maturation in predominantly older oak, before racking and bottling.

"Light, fresh and deliciously drinkable pinot noir with cherry, floral and subtle savoury and dried herb flavours. A supple red that, on a hot day, can even be served slightly chilled when dining al fresco."Bob Campbell MW
