100% Pinot Noir selected from vineyards in the Awatere Valley of Marlborough.
Parcels were lightly de-stemmed to open topped fermenters and cold soaked on skin for 5 days. Fermentation was largely carried out with natural yeasts, the musts being re-submerged twice per day until completion. The young wines were drained and pressed off the skins into barrel. Blended and bottled after 15 months maturation.
Winemaker's Comments
This juicy little minx's strawberry and cherry notes playfully flirt with cinnamon and allspice, finally succumbing to the rich, warm and seductive nature of a supple leather chaise lounge!
