Grüner Veltliner is Austria's signature grape, although cultivated in other parts of the world and beginning to make an appearance in New Zealand, particularly in the cooler South Island. The climate makes for a deliciously aromatic, vivacious and fruity style, owing to the long, sunny days and much snappier nights.
