Neudorf Rosie's Block Chardonnay 2018
Generous mouthfeel with white peach, underscored by an intriguing savoury note, and a touch of citrus with notes of dill. The wine is rich but controlled; the word "sleek" springs to mind. A vein of acidity keeps the full-textured palate under control and offers a refreshing, cleansing finish with a satisfying trail of flavour. Back to Neudorf Wine

"Barrel fermented in only 13% new oak, the 2018 Rosie's Block Chardonnay features subdued hints of cashew and grilled fruit, letting citrus take center stage. It's medium-bodied and silky, with a gentle custardy texture and a soft, engaging finish. It's easy to like and easy to drink, but catch it while it's young." robertparker.com

"Very appetising with good breadth of fruit and no excess of acidity. Although it was bottled only two months earlier, it's already open and appealing. Great tension but with a solid core of fresh fruit."

Generous mouthfeel with white peach, underscored by an intriguing savoury note, and a touch of citrus with notes of dill. Rich, yet restrained with nice underlying acidity to balance the full-textured palate. Finishes long.
