Crushed, pressed and lightly settled to leave light-moderate solids. Cool fermentation techniques in stainless steel tanks and barrel.Upon completion of fermentation, parcels were inoculated for malolactic fermentation, while others were left on yeast lees with regular stirring.
Winemaker's Comments
A lovely fruit-driven style of Chardonnay exhibiting a myriad of aromatics; ripe peach and pear with underlying citrus and fig notes. On the palate these initial fruit flavours are followed by a creamy, mealy texture and integrated oak.
